History

Its in 1983, after completing a CEGEP technique in architecture and after a brief stays in various architects and maquetist cabinets that I decided to launch my own furniture crafting and restorating company: La Boîte a Bois. To do so, I returned to my native land of Magdelene Islands. I began my cabinet work shop bit by bit by offering my customers a personalised and professional service in creating, making and realising new furniture and home improvements.

As soon as it started, La Boîte a Bois made everything from the fancy shelf to hang the keys in the lobby to the custom kitchen cabinets and starcases in massive wood, along with every shape and size of mobile furniture. The only criteria was the quality of the material and the professionalism of the work getting done, in order to deal with nothing but satisfied customers. After 20 years in the Islands, with a solidly built experience, I felt the need for new challenges. From 2004 to 2006, I then decided to self-build my own house/workshop in Bromont, in the Eastern Townships. Ever since then, I'm offering my expertise and talent on the continent.
